A124. First and only one I've tried but enjoyed it enough that I grabbed two backups today. Have not been able to catch an ECBP yet but hear a lot of good things from the crew on here.
Started off with Woodford and was always my go-to but she's sliding further and further to the back of the shelf.

They're both great pours. Hopefully you can find an ECBP soon. The private barrel picks are great too.
If you're in Houston I can sell you an ECBP at cost.

Just wanted to let yall know that I've been following this thread (as well as Brewzle on YouTube) as I've become more of a bourbon snob in the last couple months - so much so that hunting for the bottles at good prices has become something I do when I travel for recruiting or baseball stuff for TexAgs.
Anyway, just wanted to stop in and say how much I appreciate the recs and notes on this thread.
Here's what I've got currently on my bar cart. I've become a big fan of the Frey Ranch products. I think I'm in a pretty good spot in terms of selection and quality, but let me know if there's anything that I'm missing.
The Old Forester King Ranch and Heaven Hill Bottled in Bond are great for their price points.

Nice selection Brauny! I've been hearing great things about Frey Ranch, but haven't tried it yet.
Russels Reserve barrel picks, Elijah Craig Barrel Proof, and Knob Creek 12 are all attainable bottles that are fantastic and priced really well. Definitely keep an eye out for those.

Great start. That OWA is still one of my favorites. Did you get one of the Rebecca Creek Spanish oak Texags picks? That thing is incredible - if you find a bottle try it. They aren't too hard to find right now but they stopped producing them.
EHT small batch is also one of my favorites if you get it at retail.

I'll say this…I'm not a fan of regular old Jack Daniels No 7, but that Single Barrel Barrel Proof is as bold and rich as any expression I've had from the big distillers.
Also, the Alamo stuff is my favorite Texas mixer currently. I picked up that bottle in San Antonio while visiting my in laws and have really enjoyed it with some Coke Zero.

Not because it's "that great", but I don't see a bottle of Blanton's on the cart. I personally like both 107 and EHT more, and they're cheaper, but Blanton's is worth a try.
I also really like double oaked products, they tend to have a little more depth without the harshness so Elijah Craig Toasted barrel, woodford double oaked (you can find that anywhere), as well as OF1910 &20 are solid. I really liked the 1924, but probably not at the $125 retail price.

The SBBP is the only thing I like from Jack. The Rye version is great too (might be better) and I'm not a rye drinker.
I found some Jack BiB at the Duty Free on the cruise we were just on. It was cheap enough so I picked it up, haven't cracked it yet, but aside from No. 7, I've heard good things about all of their products.

What is the general consensus on the 1924? It seems like most people say it's not worth the price. Can anyone expand one way or the other?
I am pretty sure they have stopped Spanish oak but may be wrong (and hope I am). It's so good
I got mine for $119 and I thought it was worth it. Very flavorful, easy drinker. I think most of the hate comes from the fact that it's part of the Whiskey Row Series and is way more expensive than the others. If it had been $80 people would be singing its praises.

I'm not sure what I would compare it to though. It's unique. My understanding is that it's 10 year old Early Times.

Guess I should be happy with today's $109 price tag!
I prefer it to the other shelfers personally, but I don't love 1920 as much as most do. I still prefer OF SBBS.
I haven't tried it next to ER, RR10, KC10 or anything like that yet. It's probably comparable but more expensive. Worth the pickup if you don't mind the price tag though.
