Same, my first bottles were an OF 1920 that my dad gave me and a Maker's Mark 46 that my wife gave me. I wanted to work up to the 115 proof, so we cracked the 46 first and we were hooked.

Thoughts on a JD 10 and 12 for $375. I've got to pay retail. Live in small town America and aint a lot of options here.

Would think hard about the 12 even though that is steep, but would pass on the 10. It also depends on how bad you want a Jack 12. Is it something you've been wanting?

I saw it and dude was pushing it on me but I walked with ECBP & Larceny BP. Pretty happy.
I think you made the better choice. I was finally going to pull the trigger on RC Spanish Oak and put it back to grab the Smoke Wagon. Regretting it now.
I sampled the smoke barrel private selection thing. It was meh for $70.
They had EC18 for $329. Seems high.
Ended up walking with the high west special finished in Cabernet barrels. Had a few fingers tonight. It was good.

I love SC18 but that is definitely high.

Tried and true is hard to walk from, plus these are Still on the shelfn2 weeks later. 1/4 through the Larceny, need to cracj the ECBP A124 10.34yr. 119p.

Let me know how A124 is. Only reason I haven't grabbed it is because I probably have more bottles of ECBP than anything else.

I prefer the Larceny. The EC has a Very long tongue burn and yet lower proof. 100% Larceny is better. I'll be buying another bottle of it tomorrow.
