Literally picked that exact bottle up today (amongst others) at coaltrain on my way back from chaperoning my son's field trip at garden of the gods. Glad to hear the positive review.

put me in the possibly rare category of I absolutely love wine barrel aged beers, or beers with grapes added, but I very rarely drink wine.

Oh and to add; my heart sank a bit when I popped the cap… no noise at all

****in around up in Denver right now, started with some BBQ & OMF now at crooked stave and will probably finish out at cerebral here in a bit. I was gonna stop in at Lukas on the way back home only to discover that, according to the googles, it's closed down. When did that happen? That used to be my go to spot whenever I was screwing around up here when I lived here last time. Stumbled upon a bottle of tactical nuclear penguin coming home hungover after GABF back in the day.

im really looking forward to my San Diego trip in November to just spend a day like that bouncing to places for a day ... havent had a good F off brewery day in a while and love exploring new places & brews (since im a SD newb)
