I was hoping to crack this open to celebrate a Natty, but instead, I'll toast to the best A&M baseball team ever. They fight hard until the end. Proud of our boys tonight.

Tuesday is errand day. Went to Sea Dog Brewing Company in Exeter NH for lunch and sat on their deck. There is no brewing in this location, the actual brewery is in Portland Maine. Exeter is a cool old town and like many old New England towns it is situated on a river to harness it for power. The venue is a couple blocks from Phillips Exeter Academy which has a bunch of famous alumni including several members of the Adolph Coors family (to make it beer related). I had their Invader Hazy Pale which was solid. Wifey had the same.

Back from Omaha without a championship and without a coach… but I did come back with beer.

With all the **** that went down yesterday, I would have drank at least half of that last night.

I picked up for 4 friends, some for Dave's box and a decent amount for me. Driving solo has its perks.

More "thrifting" with the women with beer as my reward. Went up to Kittery Maine to The Maine Beer Cafe for Lunch and Had a Lunch from Maine Beer Company with my hot chicken sandwich. Finished with a Double Substance from Bissell Brothers Brewing which was really good. Went back across the river into New Hampshire and stopped off at Liars Bench Beer Company in Portsmouth. I had a To Vera which was described as a West Coast/ New England hybrid Double IPA. I think this is the way IPA should be (insert why not both taco girl gif here). Portsmouth is a great beer town with several breweries in the city and several more just outside of town including just across the bridge in Kittery Maine. Portsmouth Brewery which was New Hampshire's first Brew Pub has sadly closed though. They had a water main break and the building had to basically be gutted. The city is requiring them to meet current code for all repairs which is cost prohibitive. Very sad... sometimes I hate government.

We are basically reverse snowbirds. I was fortunately able to buy, swap, steal, hornswaggle and inherit my way into my family's beach house. My grandfather built it in 1950-1951. We are here late May till early September. It's a great place to spend the summer if you like beer and seafood. There are 10 different breweries that I can hop on my bike and ride to in 45 min or less. Also a couple cideries and a distillery. Tree House is about 30 min away. Not sure how long we can keep it. Property taxes are….omg!

I got this Soul Doubt from Freetail since it local, but I am not a fan. I wish I had just gotten a bottle of sellout instead. It is much better.
