Jukes out in elkhorn is also really solid. Met the brothers when I lived there before they opened the brewery and were still home brewing.

Well the natives are absolutely priapic over the Celtics win last Night. I have to be honest, I don't follow basketball so I had no idea that there were even playoffs going on. Some guy saw my TX license plate yesterday and asked if I thought we would win... I know I had one of those floating question marks over my head so he said "you know... the Celtics and the Mavericks". I just shrugged my shoulders. Anyway on to the beer.

Left is Burn The Ships from Able Ebenezer Brewery. A really strange but delicious cherry wood smoked IPA. The smoke is very subtle and goes well with the residual sweetness from the malt, not too bitter. Right is Research Series: Disco Boy IINEIPA from Frost Beer Works. Their beers are usually outstanding but this one is just pretty good.

Third window in Santa Barbara. Decent beer but the burgers are ****ing amazing.

A good one from Equilibrium. Surfing While Sciencing

Booked a ticket for the golden coors tour tomorrow last minute and am trying to find other beer/food spots to check out while I'm up there. Never really spent any time up in golden, any suggestions?

We've only been to mountain toad (food trucks) and barrels and bottles (bring your own food).

Nice skelly sticker, most fun concert i ever went to was social distortion in 2004. Was still young enough to get rowdy but old enough to know my limitations.

Another home run for Modest Man. Panic in Babylon. If I read the back of the can I probably wouldn't have bought it. I find Nelson hops to be sometimes overpowering. I read the can then took another drink. The Nelson is subtle and complements the Citra well.

Lived in Boulder as a kid. 4yrs to 12yrs. There used to be a restaurant we would drive to in Golden for Sunday lunch called The Holland House. I noticed the building is still there now called Table Mountain Grille. I remember passing the Coors Brewery on the way into and out of town. I have nothing really to add but thanks for the stroll down memory lane.

Wound up at new terrain, not too bad. Great location and beer garden as well.

Yeh new terrain is a nice spot. Once of the nicer breweries around really.. for how 'small' they are.

Resistance is Fruitile from Barreled Souls Brewingin Saco Maine (pronounced Socko). Barreled Souls is an interesting brewery. It's located in the basement of a lawyers office and they do 100% of their fermentation in oak barrels. This one is a fruit bomb and unfortunately is over lactosed. I had to pass it off to Wifey.

ETA: I knew it would be fruity. Wasn't expecting so much sweetness. I went back to Surfing While Sciencing.

Anyone been to Williamsburg, VA recently? Looks like a decent number of breweries. We just booked a long weekend there for Labor Day.

10th Anniversary Triple IPA from El Segundo Brewing. It's good, but a little sweeter than their annual Powerplant TIPA. Still not a bad way to start an early Friday HH.
