Howdy Beer thread,
I haven't posted here in a while. This is actually my wife's account my old account was `cpscag06`.
I have quit drinking a few months ago and was hoping to unload my beer stash on a fellow DFW area Ag.
Message me and I can send pictures of my stash. The collection at this point is mostly Stouts, and Barrel aged Stouts, with some Sours mixed in.
Cheers,
Doug

While I appreciate the conviction to only make the beer you want to make, in a business sense you are really painting yourself into a small corner by not offering the most popular craft beer styles.
You can still succeed, but are on a razor's edge and everything has to go exactly right to make it.
What is Red Horn up to these days? Still charging crazy prices?jah003 said:steve00 said:

Being in Temple certainly doesn't help either. Meanwhile the brewery by my house is charging $8 a glass for glorified homebrew and still kicking.
They were actually up to $8 a pour for a bit. However they've lowered most everything to $7 or less and are actually pouring full pints now. So… less on my **** list now.Chipotlemonger said:What is Red Horn up to these days? Still charging crazy prices?jah003 said:steve00 said:

Saint Arnold's 30th Rare Barrel event today was solid. Lots of great beers and the 30th Grand Cru is badass. Only actual downside was at some point in the last few days they changed the bottle that came with it from BBA Barleywine to a version of Christmas Ale with various fruits and brett. Apparently they sold the barleywine yesterday. Folks were less than thrilled with that.

Can you imagine that kid's ego after the grand slam and a bunch of grown-ass adults rip their shirts off? I hope his dad finds a way to take him to Omaha.

Is the 30th SA barley wine only available on site? Tried looking at the JV Specs and no dice (no surprise)

Finally got to sleep around 12:30 in CS last night, had to leave for Austin around 6 this morning for work. Finally getting around to a celebratory beer.
Did I lose my shirt in the mayhem last night… who could know.

You'll be in Omaha this weekend?

Barley? It's a grand cru. Should hit distro but I'm not sure when.
