Not sure, but I'll just add that they put out one of the worst beers I've ever had. My brother and I bought a sixer of a red ale from them about a decade back and it was a complete drain pour. Tasted like cold mildly fermented teriyaki water.
Post competition, hotel beer. Bastrop Buccee's score.

A cold Kalik and some conch fritters
Modest Man Brewery is making some fantastic hazy IPAs. Even with a little age on it this one is exploding with juicy hop notes. Delicious on a rainy afternoon.
It's Triple IPA season. This is a good one that doesn't have too much sweetness. A nice way to ease into some PtY next week.
A little funk, slightly tart. Some berry notes.

I was out at lunch and Encinitas Alehouse announced they tapped PtY and there were no tickets required. I guess they were trying to boost sales on a bad day for bars. Didn't seek like it worked, as there were less than ten people there.
I only had one, as I needed to get home to get queso going, so I'll reserve judgement until later this week.

First half is Parrish and Anchorage.
Stopped at 602 Brewing in Bastrop on way home, not exactly what i was imagining when i asked for some to-go beers but not complaining. Two belgians, a pils and a watermelon wheat.
Not the best beer but the views not bad.
And beats being at work

I let it get too old but I still like this one a lot even though it's lost most of its juicy fruit aroma.

They did. Ended up being a fun superbowl party with me, myself and i.
Back out at my old hangout on the central coast (https://www.instagram.com/thebackroom_at_valleybrewers/?hl=en) I don't do the instance but it's what they use to post all their beers. Had a kick ass SARA sour and WC IPA (that reminded me a lot of some of the WC stuff I'd drink from highland park) and a Jackie O's BBA barleywine that was fantastic.
Still bums me out that we can't get a brewery or even a beer bar worth a **** in the springs.

Alright, so I had a bit more time out in Green Bay than expected. It looks like the better breweries are outside of Green Bay, so I didn't make it there. BUT...
I enjoyed Copper State as a brewery and a venue.
Titletown was fine. The rooftop bar was closed, so I didn't get to check out the views. They had some great pinball machines though.
Badger State was average.
Hinterland was underwhelming.
1919 Kitchen & Tap was a cool place. Really cool to be able to get a meal or drink inside Lambeau.

I've now had 7 PtY this week, so I think I have a reasonable baseline. It is an excellent beer, not too sweet and has a bit of dank. I go back and forth over whether it is as dank as last year, which was my favorite year, but my memory is clouded by time and alcohol.
I'll rate it 1b to last year's 1a. Highly recommend.

I'm still jealous because I've never had the younger or the elder. Wife and I planned a Russian River trip we had to cancel/defer so I'm still awaiting my opportunity.
