Not too far from Eureka are Great Heights Brewing and Walking Stick Brewing. IMO, both make way better beer than Eureka.

Happy Tuesday beer drinkers. This is "Tynt Meadow" English Strong Ale brewed by Trappist Monks from Mount Saint Bernard Abbey in England. Lots of dark fruit with chocolate and caramel in this one.
Any of y'all got any tips for Green Bay? I'll be up there for a few days coming up. Not a lot of down time, but I will have a few hours to get out and about.

The stadium is worth a visit… I think the brewery is nearby too which I remember being fine but nothing super great. We also used to go on Friday nights and play bingo at the Casino with all the blue hairs… so that's an option.CDub06 said:

Honestly… just go buy some New Glarus and drink them in your hotel lol? Green Bay isn't a great brewery town.

If anyone is near Marshall, TX a new brewery has opened up right on the Courthouse Square. Its called Rueggenbach Brewery and the venue is amazing. It has three levels one of them being a rooftop patio. I was able to talk to the owner and taste a few of their beers on Monday. I recommend their saison, their imperial stout and their smoked porter.

Was a tad boozy, which I like but could see how that would drive others away. Was also a tad sweet, wasnt expecting that almost like a barleywine sweetness of toffee. But I like both those so right up my ally
Best part of WI IMO is finding a nice dive bar with a Friday fish fry and like $3 spotted cows on draft. Play some pull tabs too… that's living right there.CDub06 said:

There's a dude I follow on the Tok who does exactly that. Just drives around WI looking for dive bars and drinking Busch Light.
