Nice. My local H-E-B used to carry Ommegang and the GoT beers. But they stopped after the last season. Wish they would bring them back.

Yeah that beer is an insane price on the secondary market. Just scrolled through his untapped this morning and was laughing at that and the OWK, BBTs, kbbs and SR71 and all the others he got to have. Hell of a bucket list share.

Finally sober enough to post about my STL trip. Overall a great time with great friends in a great beer city. They have it so good with the bottles they are able to get/drink.

Ended up getting a private tour of Side Project where the owner opened up some BBT bottles and even opened some of the new Derivation 11 that hasn't been released yet.


Spent most of the time just popping bottles at the house though. Here are a just a couple of the pics from the weekend.



And to top it all off one of my friends decided to surprise everyone and brought a bottle of Don Quixote. Probably the only beer I never thought I was going to get to try.

The guy that brought it is the most baller beer friend I have. He bought it straight cash homie style a few months back. This is his 2nd bottle of Don Q that he has opened in the past 4 months. The last public sale I saw was for $8500

D11 is basically D3 with vanilla. It was fantastic.

OWK > BBT2 but would much rather have 4-5 BBT

If you are in BCS, Cafe Eccel has cans of Spindletap 5% Tint. They are the 16oz, so they might be a couple months old, but the one I had last night still tasted pretty good.
