I was wondering that all the talk was about on the FB page and their recent post today.

saw they posted a response today on their FB, saying that they apologize for the way things were handled and don't expect the customers to make things right. that the error was all theirs. Apparently it got people all up in arms.

its all over the craft beer groups on FB.

people on both sides of the argument. and then there are the people who are trashing TG solely based on their prices.

Ahhh the age old conundrum of getting charged for the wrong product. Always a tricky position.

This one is a bit different than getting charged for GMO apples instead of Organic apples and not coming back to the store. I personally would have said something since when I ordered the $500 bottle I was ready to pay $500. I mean, they already bought two bottles of beer totaling $800. What's another $200 to do the right thing? I'd probably pony up the $200 difference and hope for some goodwill in the future.

The funniest thing about this is the twatwaffle who plastered it on the internet looking for a bunch of internet high fives for, I assume, being super hard and not paying it. LULZ I had $200 more to spend on Sue.

Asking your customers to make up the difference on your mistake is super dumb.

But not paying the right price (if they noticed it) is super crappy as well.

It said on the label they used 10 different hops. I'm not a fan when breweries make an IPA and throw a conglomerate of hops in.

Saw that this morning. If it was me I'd tell them to discuss the matter with my Nigerian prince. Don't fault the brewery trying to get their money back though. I'm sure they were never actually expecting to see a dime of that 200

friend of mine is one of the owners. I've been meaning to get down there since they opened, but just don't go downtown that often, and when I do, its for something specific.

I'm a HUGE fan a belgians, though they don't get a lot of talk on here. This place is like heaven to me.
