Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit drinkin'.
I was up and at it at 6am this morning. Left the house with my family a little after 7 to drive to Mississippi. I drove from CS to Hammond, LA and now my wife is driving. I was only a little hurt this morning. And yes. I did have a Devil Dancer and an All Day IPA before the sours I put down. Probably a good idea I didn't hit the barrel aged stout like I considered.

Enjoying a Lakewood Hop Trapp Belgian-style IPA. Quite tasty!
Also transferring my first batch of beer brewed on my own. It's an AHB porter as that's one of my wife's favorite styles. It's a 1g kit. After she watched me do all that work for 1g, she promptly took me to AHB and now I have a 5g setup.

Tried a Devil Dancer today, holy **** that beer is rough. I'm a huge Founders fan, but I don't like this one at all.

Well I'm considering cracking a Ruin Ten and figured that needed to be the night ender.
And I tried a small glass at a friend's place over the weekend.. It's a serious beer and holy hops batman but I kind of liked it. Might change when I drink a whole bottle, though.

Was there earlier before it started. Tried the Scruffs Smoked Alt which was pretty good when they first tapped it getting ready for the night. Not a fan of the Lawn Ranger. Need to try the Phone Home.
Did have the Creme Brûlée on draft while I was there. Damn is that good. Couldn't drink a bomber by myself for how sweet it is but damn its good.

Txkng I was not a fan of lawn ranger either. I was surprised they still had the crème brulé still on tap. I've got a bottle in the fridge of it so I'm waiting for a good time to pop the top. Maybe tonight
