I had the Red's Rye at Downtown Fort Worth Saucer. Petty good.

I've had reds rye before and it was really good. But I'm in CS and we are last to get the good stuff.

In regards to devil dancer... According to BA it's just waiting on TABC approval, but should hit this month.

Had a couple of new beers last night... Firestone Walker Reserve Porter and an Odell IPA. The porter was pretty phenomenal... For 5 bucks a bomber, I'll be picking up more in the future. The IPA was pretty phenomenal as well. The freshness was off the charts!

Today will consist of a visit to the Hops and Grain taproom and a visit to the growler Room. Founders all day IPA fills are 10 bucks today...

Picked up some Hop Delusion when I got off work tonight. Very tasty way to unwind.

If I was gonna try and find a bottle of consecration in the greater denver metro area today, where are the first places I ought to try? There's far to many stores listed on RRBC's website to call

I doubt anyone in the metro has any left. Applejack gets the sours and they tend to sit a little longer than other places.

It wouldn't hurt to call and ask Highland Wine and Spirits. Those guys always hide stuff in the back. You can call and ask them, but they might just lie to you anyway. Scott is the guy over there. You could ask for him.

Otherwise, consecration came and went during the winter and I haven't seen any since.

The sours seem to have some seasonality, but I think it's more about when the barrels are ready.

You might want to try harvest wine and spirits on your way out of Boulder. It's on Arapaho just west of the diagonal.

I made a couple calls and posted on my tasting groups Facebook page to see if anyone had seen some. No dice.

Damn just saw that suggestion and already out of boulder. I really appreciate the help.

I had a Kickin Chicken in the fridge. That was by far the most disgusting thing I've ever tried. Two sips and down the sink it went.

BSD, I really like your granite. From what I can tell, it looks similar to the stuff I picked out. I've never really payed much attention to **** like that until I started building my house and have been having to make multiple trips to the granite yard

Thanks. We gutted our kitchen when we bought this house a few years ago and I remember those trips well. We went with dark cabinets so the lighter granite is a nice contrast.
