Same here. Die hard Rangers fan, but grew up loving the Killer B's and those Astros.

Doing more research today at smog city, which is within walking distance of monkish. While monkish is still the clear leader smog city is pretty strong.

Smog City was the nicest surprise last time I was out that way.

Picked up a sixer of Tailgater by Panther Island in my never ending search for good pool beers. It's been well received.

Headed to Chicago (sans car) on Thursday for a few days and need some beer and dining suggestions. We're staying at the Hyatt Regency near Millennium Park if that helps. Looks like Local Option is a must, but I'm open to other ideas.

Anyways, my brother was asking me about this one yesterday.

San Antonio is starting to get a nice craft beer scene (finally). I'm not through there nearly as much as I used to be, but I've been pleased the last few times through.

Weathered Souls, Kunstler, and Roadmap (first visit yesterday) are all doing good stuff, including some fun brews. I've heard good things about Islla, but haven't made it out there. And I know of 3 other breweries that are about to popup in town. It's not all just Freetail anymore.

Now if only my dear Corpitos would catch up.

Isla is good. They do a lot of herbal adjuncts. I like their stouts. I am not a fan of any pinesol(ipas) beer of any making so I cannot opine-sol on those.

Its really good but I have stopped buying the last few batches because the retail price keeps going up. The bottle in your pic was like $180 after tax.

Love the wordplay. I've just heard about Islla's NEIPAs and that's my cup o' tea. But they sound well rounded. They're high on my to do list.
