Picked up a vanilla noir and bourbon paradise this evening. Excited for the vanilla as I haven't had one in a few years. With BCBS last week and these and CBS tomorrow my wallet is taking a pretty sizeable hit from beer this month.

I had one last week and I'd say it wasn't worth it.
Honestly it tasted like they just threw some Jack Daniels in with a batch of Buried Hatchet, not much barrel character at all.

I had one last night and would say it isn't worth the price. I thought the flavors were alright, but it was a little thin and just wasn't overly impressive. As others have said, for that price tag, I would get a BBA Ten Fidy.

Honestly after tasting it, I was a little shocked at the price tag as I don't imagine it will entice any repeat buyers.

I'll grab some Pine Belt Pale Ale or regular Buried Hatchet occasionally. I had Buried Hatchet on nitro at a bar last week and I probably liked that better than the Black Crack I bought.

Buried Hatchet is pretty good, although not something I like enough to seek out. One of the beer guys at my local Whole Foods likes it so much he has the can art tattooed on his arm!

They do a lot of brewery-only NEIPA releases. Their distro beers are average at best.
