I drink red wine. Any of zinfandels, syrahs, cabs, etc. In the summer I like pinots or a rose.

I like my wine to dry me out and punch me in the face.

for the grape variety, I tend to gravitate toward Cab, Pinot, and Malbec. I also like Temparnillo, but don't drink them often. I hate sweet wines and pretty much all white wines.

Seriously, though, I lean towards Napa cabs, some Sonoma pinot, white and red Bordeaux, and a nice Burgundy from time to time. And a good aged German Reisling with Thai food.

Anybody Spanish red like Garnache, Italian Pinot Noir, Napa Cabs.

Spanish reds are the better value over those other two.

For the past year or so I've been really into Mexican wine. Especially Tempranillo and Nebbiolo. Valle de Guadalupe is the next Napa.

I'm having my second helluva Caucasian by living the dream out of Denver. Good stout but not great. A friend works for the brewery so I was hopeful that I would love it.

Don't drink wine super often because beer, but when I do I like crisp whites like Gruner Veltliner, Sancerre, and various northern Italians in that style like Gavi and Friulano. Sometimes chardonnay but not too oaky.

Reds I'm down for almost anything, but I'm sentimental about Italian ones and have been getting more into Pinot with time
