Thanksgiving Day 1968 I was in Vietnam, turkey and the other stuff was served during lunch. I was flying a 3:30 minute mission to deliver mermite cans of turkey and stuff to a few different sites. I didn't get any lunch.
Christmas was a bit better, but not much.

Best Thanksgiving Dinner was in the middle of the desert in the ME. We ate our fill and climbed on top of the tanks and relaxed.
