Cannot be worse than Minot ND during the winter…
Not many places are.
I had three assignments in Germany and loved them all. None at Graf, but I was TDY there and it's a nice area.aznaggiegirl07 said:

I totally screwed up my only chance to go to Vilsec. Got ahold of my branch manager, they said they had one E5 spot there, and I told them let me make sure my wife's on board with moving (report date was within a month of baby #2s arrrival so timing wasn't ideal). Wife was ok with it, couldn't get ahold of the manager again. By the time I did several days later, the spot was gone and I got orders for Korea. Probably the biggest regret of my military career.
Were you there March to September of '76? 2/67 Armor?OldArmyCT said:
What are you going to do there? I spent 6 months there TDY but it was eons ago…Brigade 75 out of Ft Hood. The only advantage to being stationed at Graf instead of another Germany post is you won't be sent TDY to Graf. Being stationed in Germany was an underrated perk of being in the military. We traveled somewhere darn near every weekend. Most of the posts are closed from what I'm hearing, but you can have a great time on any military post if you make yourself get off post and travel.
