I was med-boarded out of the Army after 14 years, 6 months, and 1 week of service. 5 major deployments (1 peacekeeping, and 4 combat) and 10 minor deployments. Damn I wish I was still in.

Being told you have to leave sucks, but everyone leaves at some point.
