I was a non-reg Zip in the 1995 Boot Line (Class of '96- Whoop) for nearly every home game.

There were non-regs, including a few women, in the boot line in the fall of 1970.

As more non-regs came to A&M, it really came to be more of a "senior line," which was fine with me.

Fall '91, I remember the boot line after halftime was the only place I saw some of my non-reg HS friends during our senior year. I didn't make it to all of them because as others described, if the band broke in such a way that you were on the other side of the field, it was hard to work your way around the track in time before the team came out.

We staged a Corps Block T photo in Spring '92 and it took forever to get that thing lined up. Doing it during a game was awesome. The other part that was cool was how many empty seats were visible when the Corps was on the field.
HollywoodBQ - Any idea where a print of that photo can be purchased, or who took/print/sold? Need to get one and never saw it for sale. Maybe FDT walked it through the dorm?

93Spur - unfortunately, I don't know. I would assume it was A&R Photography.

When I was in school, I couldn't afford all the outfit photos and stuff and I was able to re-purchase all of them in the early 2000s from A&R photography except for one. My Zip year as it turns out. Apparently because that's the year the Corps Center opened, they sent all of their photos from Fall '91 over to the Corps Center and they couldn't find the negatives for reprints of that one year.

I was in College Station about 2 weeks ago and had forgotten all about A&R Photography until I drove past their place on Wellborn road just north of University. That's where I recommend you start your search.

Check with Barker Photography in Bryan. I'm pretty sure they did most of the march-in photos during the 90's, and I believe they continue to do them today.

In 1976 our bootline had CT's and non-regs mixed in. No one asked any questions and it was a great time to be on Kyle at halftime.
Class of '75 CT here and I agree with '76. It was not an issue of CT or not - it was seniors out on the field supporting the team!
