Complain all you want about the Army's blues... the Navy has produced the most hideous uniforms ever.

Navy Khaki and Blues

I don't think that the McPeak airline pilot uniform will ever be topped.

My blue suit buddies just 'loved' the McStupid stuff back in that era.

Now if they could just ditch the French Hat stuff..........

Suppose the Army went with a gray shirt as opposed to the white one. Thoughts? (Agreed, the whamm-o (beret) needs to go.)

It does look better than what you had, but let's not get carried away here.

The new ASU was originally a gray shirt. It was horrible.

Casey really just needs to retire.

Just saw an Army LTC this morning in the blue pants/white shirt Class B. Looked like someone from the Geek Squad.

Yeah, well, they airborne trooper in his ASU looks like a French cafe table waiter, with his white shirt, maroon beret, and bloused trousers. The Blue ASU is a step in the right direction, but there are miles to go before it looks "good."

Should've gone back to pinks & greens. Think "Twelve O'Clock High".

End of story.

Berets are gay. Go back to garrison covers.

In my opinion, the pinks and greens (and all the variants allowed with it) was the best uniform the Army every had. Of course, it's also what we wore for Class A's at A&M. My dad served in the early '50s in both the P&G and AG-44 eras. He always told me that he loved the pinks and greens because you could be full blown dressed-up for day or night...but then ditch the coat (and tie?) and still have a decent working uniform. He also liked the "sun tan" A's in summer...and it was also a pretty sharp uniform.

Yes, indeed, pinks and greens would have kicked ass! Hell, even changig that white shirt to a khaki one would be an improvement. Alas, the Army never seems to ask before setting off on their own volition with unis.
