Man that's sweet. Are those Bora lumber racks? Any specific reason you went 3 level instead of the 6? I was just eyeing this on Prime day but didn't end up pulling the trigger.

It's an off-brand. I'm pretty sure the same factory makes all the off-shoots of this style. I usually just buy what's on sale, though if I remember right, the Bora are just slightly different and easier to assemble. I wasn't opposed to the 6-stack or Bora, but think these were cheaper and I was buying a ton of them.

I did this at my old house and it was a game-changer for storing lumber. I definitely recommend if you're on the fence.

Thanks for the advice on the scaffolding. I ended up getting the extra wheels for the bottom as support and that helped as well. Going to put it to work this weekend.

Looking great.

Some French cleat tool hangers, a total boat sign, and you can be a YouTube influencer shop.

But then I'd have to devolve into doing tool reviews for products provided by manufacturers for my honest* opinion...

On second thought....

Agreed - glad I bought the wheel kit

Thanks for the pics too. I was trying to see how to use the safety rails and not have all 4 sides. We are putting up hardie and wanted that side open. Is that a zip tie that you have on one? Thats what I was thinking of doing.

Yes. That's a safety class zip tie.

In all seriousness, it's a heavy duty one and as soon as I'm done with sheathing, the other half will go back on. It helps that I'm not working at it's max height

I'll gladly take all unsatisfactory tools off your hands.

Sunsets are awesome out here, and it makes for a great night when you can let your kids see some deer.

Back to shop updates. I've managed to make a lot more room to work with:

Don't think I've shared a lot about this side of the building. Two pretty good sized doors. I'm planning on building some inset cabinets in those three foot wide spaces directly on the left & right of each of the overhead doors for chemical/paint storage:

Got a lot of tools hung up, material sorted on there racks, and Old Glory on the wall. I'm not quite sure how I'll build the bench on the left side yet, but will be an inset miter station, and then a closet in the corner for air compressor and dust collector. Starting to look respectable:

Next step is to get the work bench built and move toolboxes.
