Recently got rid of SimpliSafe at our new house as we weren't happy with it and felt cumbersome. We really only need door entry and a doorbell camera.. maybe a flood light camera. Any recommendation on other systems out there? Also been looking at trying to utilize Apple Home to connect devices.

I have been with Vivint for the last 6 months. Switched from ADT and should have done it long ago. A bit higher cost on the equipment side, but the customer service, app, and equipment quality (i.e. image quality, nighttime image quality, camera light control, etc.) are all excellent.

Vivint was installed in our house when we bought it, went ahead and rolled with it. Added door bell camera and driveway camera. Both nice. Alert when people detected, packages delivered, would be hard to go back to no cameras. Probably cheaper options, but has been years of reliability at this point. I have a water sensor by the water softener, and a bunch of smoke/co detectors. Easy to call for help on the panel, my kids even at 5yr old could easily call for help. (I would test them on it every now and then).
