Random Question/Issue: Sprayer Flex Line Getting Caught Under Sink

We have a Delta faucet that allows for the spout to be pulled down/extend and reach other parts of the sink.

The issue is that the flex line hangs naturally in a perfect position under the hot water shut off valve. So it naturally hooks onto it when I got to extend it. Easy to bend down and unhook it, but kind of annoying.

Anyone know of any part sold (or that you can make easily) to kind of act as a guide to prevent the line from getting caught?

Can you try to reroute it so that one of the other lines directs it out of the way?

What do you mean by reroute it? It's just the "slack" for the extension hose that hangs under the sink....

I had the same problem. Bought this & it works:

Moen 159060 Pullout/Pulldown Hose Management System (Hose Guide)

Go SlackerAg & Moen!
Electrician moved our wall outlet, the main problem and if plumbing valves begin a problem, then either the Moen or a gaterboard blocker solution created.

there's a lot of potential jokes about the naming of that particular item.

DIY option is to put a screw in the cabinet above and below the valve. Then run a string from the screw, over the valve, and then to the other screw. Hose will slide over the valve going up or down. Same concept as a brnach deflector on a jeep to move limbs out of the way:

This is perfect, thanks.

But may give the string idea above a try before dropping $16 on a plastic tube lol

Yeah, it's expensive for plastic. You might be able to buy some plastic sheets & make one yourself.

Use one of those id badge retractable things on the hose via velcro or tape and attach it in the direction away from shutoff. Maby to a garbage disposal side or the sidewall underneath cabnet. That way it moves with hose but provides guidance away.

I had a similar problem after I had to replumb the lines under the sink.

I ended up just taking a portion of an Amazon shipment box to make a "slide" between some pipes and the flex hose. Couple of staples holding the cardboard to the Sheetrock, couple of zip ties.

Works perfectly.
