I need help. Our provider is Swepco and I have not gotten to speak to anyone very helpful there.
A transformer randomly blew in our neighborhood early Monday morning. We have a whole house generator that has forgotten how to automagically start itself up or shut down. Husband went outside to flip the switch and all was well.
A couple of hours later, power was restored. All houses around us - next door in both directions as well as across the street are back up. We flip the generator switch and we lose all power to our house. Turn the generator back on, then file a report with Swepco.
Swepco says we have power. Our house says otherwise. Aside from the normal circuit breakers, is there some giant circuit breaker at the meter or something that I should flip? Help!
