Seems timely to share ideas for HI-related gift ideas. I'm looking for one for a family member, but thought it might be fun to share some of the best you've come across.

I'll start with a few that I like:

• Pipe Clamps - $15 and up - Amazon - I really like these personally because they're so versatile. You can easily change out pipe lengths, or use a union to extend as needed. Great clamping power. As a gift, they scale nicely.
• DeWalt Cordless Router - $150 - Amazon - This one has been a game-changer for me. Made it much easier to use a router on many projects. I'd also recommend the plunge base - $85 - Amazon
• Bosch Laser Measurer - $100 - Home Depot - There are many options for digital tape measures, but I own this one and really like it a lot. I scoffed at buying one and quickly changed my mind after getting some use out of it.

I have the hand-held wet/dry battery-powered vacuum and it is awesome!

If you know anyone that doesn't already have an inflator, that is what they need.

portable car jump box with built in extras like a tire inflator. Or just the tire inflator.

I love my dewalt inflator. It's awesome. But I started switching to red. And my Milwaukee inflator is next level. But can't go wrong with either.

Home Depot is starting to toss their tools on sale for the holidays.

I picked up an oscillating tool the other night. Ended up with a tool, batteries, and a charger (didn't need, but it is what it is) for $50 less than the usual tool only.

Yes, I don't need a 20v blower, but I'm tempted. 2 5ah batteries is $149, or you can get a 4ah+6ah+charger+bag+tool for $199. I wish they had a right angle drill, right angle impact, rachet, or floodlight on the deal.

Not a tool but a new pair of RedWing work boots is always nice

I just bought myself (F54) these this weekend. My son (M15) and I LOVE them. We were burning yard debris and had to cut a lot of stuff down. These were awesome.

Not sure if I'm just going to go old school with peg board or one of the newer more modular systems like Container Store Elfa, Ryobi, Milwaukee, etc......

These go on sale every 4 months or so. We have one in every car and have given away for Wedding and Christmas gifts... You are sure to use it at some point. Also, allows for charging of phone if in a pinch. Used it a few times on our cars and countless times helping others out. I can usually get about 8-10 jumps before I recharge. They have larger sizes for Diesel and 3/4-1 ton + trucks...

Lots of modular systems and some cross compatibility. Also some adapters between systems. Some love for new tough system at lowes. Den of tools has reviewed most systems. I have some container store elfa but only way it was even close to practical was close out of color they discontinued.
Instead of pegboard look at gridfinity. Originally 3d printed stuff but can get prefab now and print only unusual stuff you cant get off the shelf.

This is the best time of year to stock up on tools and batteries for whatever line you're in by doing hacks at Home Depot

Hacks? What kind of hacks? This is useless without details.

On some combo items and bogo deals at home depot they put the individual items on the receipt. Then you can break them apart and return items you may not want at near full retail. I don't do this but some do and are successful, some after sufficient arguments and some fail. Ymmv

Almost all "hacks" fall into that realm

Box of InkZall markers. They mark on anything even if it's wet. Much better than Sharpies.

To add to the clarification on the "hack".

DeWalt Impact/Drill combo is $299 + Free Tool
