Sister bought a house with an area that has a pebbled area...her kids got into it and caught ringworm. Previous owners must have had pets.

What's a good method of treatment to eliminate the fungus/bacteria/memory that lingers on the rock?

I don't think the kids caught ringworm (a fungus) from the pebbles.

But-any fungicides should do

Probably not from the rocks but you never know. Fungicide or diluted bleach in a pump sprayer. Usually uv rays kill it as well.

My neices are homeschooled, no daycare or co-op because of recent move. And so they must have caught it at home. I'm not saying the pebbles caused it, more like dog feces in the pebbles may have been carrying it until they started playing in it.

I've seen some say bleach 30:1 mixtures. Then rinse it next day or so. Maybe the fungicide would be better.

get online and find some 3336F fungicide. this is some heavy duty stuff....but it was the only thing that worked in my yard for the gray leaf problems i've had for a couple of years.
