Garage Wall Storage Options?

Looking for some options for garage wall storage. At my previous home, I had a couple of 2x8 with hooks. Looking for something a little nicer/cleaner.

Seems like the Gladiator Geartracks are popular but on the pricier side compared to others - maybe paying for the name. Are these the ones to get or are there similar/better options that you would suggest?

Thanks.

Any companies that can help plan or just be an intermediary for all this type stuff?

We are moving to a new house in September, it has a large garage, not a 2 1/2 or 3 car garage, but big enough for my truck. I currently have just a bunch of shelves and a workbench on the sides of the garage, not a big deal since I don't park in there. But I'd like to have it laid out where we maximize storage and still park two cars in it....

In Houston.

Get cheap peg board and then a bunch of these so the hooks don't come out:

Or if you want to go all out with a DIY project:

I wouldn't buy the plans. Just look at the photos of how to make a frame for the peg board to protect the edges and stiffen it up.

We installed our own racks above the garage doors but this company will sell the racks and install them for you https://saferacks.com/collections/overhead-garage-storage.

I already have a work bench with a pegboard as well as another peg board so am mainly looking for a rail type system for the side wall to hang larger stuff like water hoses, shovels, ladder, edger, etc.

Agree the Gladiator system can be pricy compared to others, but it goes on sale from time to time, which is how I purchased mine.

If you do go Gladiator, the Craftsman hooks will also work in the Gladiator channel, but am pretty certain Kobalt won't. And I don't know if Gladiator hooks will work in Craftsman channel, but a little google search should help answer.
