It is a a fertilizer, broadleaf postemergent herbicide and preemergent. At the rate it goes out I wouldn't worry about changing your fertilizer schedule - it isn't really that much fertilizer and it is all quick release(I think).
I haven't seen this particular chemical in any other form available to the public.

So that 3-in-1 works for broadleaf. What are you putting down for grassy weeds and when?

Pre or post?

I would prefer to prevent than having to deal with them once they are up. Want to be on a good schedule to eliminate as much as I can and just deal with the few that pop up.

And application of that 3-in-1 needs to go down Sept 1, if I recall your recommendations.

A weed is anything growing where you don't want it to. Some people consider clover a weed......

The clover I get has burrs all over it. It is absolutely a weed.

The bioadvance works on both (according to the label).

The post in the 3-in-1 works only on broadleafs. The preemergent part works on both. With this product, I think you can cut back to 3 applications in a year. The preemergent is much stronger than others you can buy - the weaker products are why I recommended 4x/year.
Using the Biaoadvance 3-in-1 I would guess you could go Sept 1, Jan 1, May 1.

TMfrisco,

If you don't mind, could I please have an email address where I could ask you a question about my yard?

Thanks!
