Does anyone have any experience with these cabinets? They have some good reviews on-line and seem to be much more functional given the configuration options vs. something built-in, etc...

Any and all thoughts / opinions or other ideas welcome and appreciated.

Other idea that I have done:

Install kitchen base cabinets and top with 3/4" plywood. Use uppers on the wall. Pegboard in between to hang stuff. Under-cabinet lights to brighten the work area.

Prolly get out for 25% of the Costco price.

Or look into Flow Wall. Kind of same idea as the Costco stuff but cabinets hang on grooved wall panels. Panels are used to hang shelves on the inside.

My dad has a basic set and it looks nice. I plan on starting with the wall and some hangers.

I know a guy that has these exact cabinets in his shop. He's happy with them.

As a cabinetmaker who has given him a quote to do a full bar in his basement, I wished he wouldn't have bought these and had me do some shop cabs for him as well.

However, I checked them out, and they seem decent enough at that price point.

I've had better luck with shallow shelves + pegboard than anything else. When I had cabinets they were too deep so things would get lost in there.

I've never used these types of cabinets before but they seem heavy duty and functional for your garage. It seems to have a lot of space to organize items and keep them protected.
