Anybody have this set? Seems like it's hard to beat at $500. Found a review at Toolguyd that it's 21 gauge steel (meh), 100lb rated drawers, and ball bearing slides. The closest thing Harbor Freight has in this size range is like $600+.

I have the Harbor Freight 44" top and bottom and highly recommend it. It has a lot more drawers than that Porter Cable box, and much heavier built. For example, the PC bottom weighs 115#, and the HF bottom weighs 245#. I will admit I like the 'roll top' style top on the new boxes because I'm short and it's easier to see in to, but overall the HF is a much better box.

Thanks! I messed with the PC one at Lowes yesterday. The size, height and features are just about what I was looking for. It felt a little thin, but I couldn't decide how thin was too thin. I guess if you have to ask..

I have one of the US General tool carts/chests from HF. Damn thing shrunk over the last couple of years. I looked more closely at mine after getting home from Lowes, and I see what you mean about the weight.
