I hate wicker outdoor furniture, but that is what you find 90% of the time.

Looking for a nice wooden or aluminum sectional patio couch to sit in front of my new fireplace. Any recommendations?

Crate and Barrel.

Inb4 way too expensive. But we have had ours for 5 years and the chairs have not faded and neither has the sunbrella fabric on any of it.

They don't have our color anymore but I feel like it was well worth the price.

I built my own out of cedar. Bought cushions from garden ridge. Went loosely off of some plans my wife found online. Very easy project. Total
Cost was about $200. Been over a year and they still look exactly the same.

Ditto...Sams club. The set I bought had the sunbrella fabric cushions.

Not sure where you're from, but if you're from the Dallas area then Nebraska Furniture Mart is a good option as well!

Went there and 90% of everything they had was wicker. That cheap chinese crap will fall apart after 3 good Dallas summers.

We got a couple of cast aluminum chase loungers from Chair King. Quality seems reasonably good. We got them on sale in the fall. I still think they were overpriced, but I couldn't find any other options that were better. The Sunbrella cushions were extra and also more expensive than I thought they should be. Our outdoor dining set came from Lowe's 6 or 7 years ago. Very high quality, but the stuff they have now doesn't seem near as good. I wouldn't buy the stuff they have at our local store today.

I shopped a lot on-line for the chase loungers. One thing I noticed was that a lot of the same stuff was available from multiple places at radically different prices. A couple of places you might not thought of looking is Joss & Main (on-line website with closeouts and overstocks) and Macy's (overpriced, but seems to be on sale often at 50% off).
