we lost power during last Thursday's storm. Irrigation controller won't turn back on, any thoughts? I unplugged and plugged into a source i confirmed had power... it's a hunter if that matters. any thoughts/suggestions?

Amazon has them. Make sure to get one with the correct number of zones.

Then you swap out the wires zone by zone to the new one.

Our replacement was very easy. Just wire by wire.

Then you have to reschedule the times on all your zones and start days/times.

Most irrigation controllers have a reset button. They usually trip after a power surge. The very small reset button is usually behind the digital display panel and will require a small screw driver to push. It may be hard to find but it is usually labeled. On the X-Core, it is located below the digital display, behind the removable, slide-down cover. If you can't find it, give me a call.

If "RESET" doesn't do it, make sure the GFI isn't tripped. You might not have any power to the outlet.

Well, I know my Hunter is dying and it's indoors and only 6 years old. But that is only one unit and I'm only a homeowner.

Walking down memory lane here, been gone a while. I hope someone reads this, because RACHIO is the cats meow. Irrigator suggested it, it was a breeze, and wicked smart.

I managed to install a Rachio all by myself so even a girl can do it! Hubby do go straighten it a bit but is was functional.

To pile on, I had a Rachio at my last house and a Rainbird at my current home. The Rachio was miles better in terms of UI and functionality. The Rainbird app can't even get the date/time right no matter how many times I set it.

Just installed a Rachio. It was pretty easy. Curious how y'all set up your schedules. Did you do traditional fixed schedule or did you go with the flex monthly/daily schedule? Any suggestions here?

Still under restrictions so mine is fixed. However when we weren't under restrictions I used flex monthly with smart cycle. Very happy with results.

Restrictions were eliminated a few weeks ago. I didn't know because it was not as widely advertised as when they put the restrictions in place.

So in CS you can water whenever you want now.
