We didn't use anything other than regular fertilizer (and not on a good schedule) the first few years (house built in October 2008). We used TruGreen for the last few years but canceled cause they seemed to be doing a poor job after the first year or so.
I am not sure what I sprayed for broadleaf stuff - I'd have to look in my garage (that was years ago).
So basically, there is nothing in particular that I'm used to using.
Are there any good schedules online for this stuff? I'm just NE of Dallas. I've signed up for e-mails from Scott's but that seems to be sales pitches more than anything else. I'm very, very new at actually trying to maintain a good lawn, but if I can find something that tells me what to buy and when to put it down, I think I could manage that.
By the way - thanks for the help TSU. I see you pop up on most of the lawn care threads and appreciate the help you offer.
My problem in the past has been your typical newbie issue of caring when it looks bad, which is typically way too late.
