So my fence post went down with the wind storm. When digging up the concrete plugs, I hit the sprinkler line (which was within a quarter inch of the plug). After repairing the line, the PVC pipe is now exposed and if I pour concrete for the new post it'll wrap around the sprinkler pipe. Other than the obvious (problems with repairing in the future), will the concrete compromise the PVC pipe?

No. Is there anyway you can just 90 it around the concrete post?

I would, but time is a factor. I have 50 feet of fence to replace and leaving out of town for Spring Break on Friday. The only time I have is after 5 today and tomorrow. I figured if the line got compromised in the future, I would resort to that.

Your sprinkler pipe will be fine.

I would suggest wrapping the pipe with pipe wrap or something to avoid the concrete expanding and contracting right on the pipe. This would also allow if for some reason you had to replace, an easy hole to slide a new pipe through if you had to.

Thanks for the suggestions! I went with the pipe wrap and hopefully it'll last.
