We are turning a gameroom into a theater room, and want to add 3 wall sconces to each side.

The room is on the second floor, with attic access. We are going to remove the fan, is currently opperated by a 2 switch wall switch. One turns the lights on, one turns the fan on. "1" is the switch, "2" is the location of the sconces.

Is it possible to use the existing wire that is going to the fan and branch it out to get to each wall sconce? Or will I need to rewire the whole room with higher wattage wire.

Ive never done this extensive of electrical work. (i have only switched out fixtures. about 25 so far this year). what do i need to know, what do you recommend? info on juntion boxes is also helpful if you can add suggestions on that also.

none of the walls for the sconces are exterior walls.

buy fixtures so that you can see their back plates and cut holes less than that size where you want each of them located..........hire an electrician to run the cables and install the boxes! Once you have the spots where you want them all the electrician has to do it electrical work so less time

It is possible depending on how much of a load you have on that 20A breaker, you cannot run more than 16A on that 20A brkr per electrical code. Figure out what else is on that circuit, if it is minimal (maybe a few amps) then you are golden and can just run some romex over to the new lights.
