My wife has a piano event today in commerce. So I came along to be the driver. Stopping off at Stone River in Royse city. If the course greens are anything like the practice green, I'm in for a long round lol

It looks like a freeze hit them. But it was a spur of the moment decision and I decided just to play something nearby where she was going to be so I can't get too upset. I hope. Wish me luck!

Didn't realize this was possible for anything considered an actual putting green!?!

I didn't either. The young guy I played with was "yeah I think they over sanded". I was like there's no grass on most of these holes.

Once we got to hole 12-16 there was grass but I don't think I've ever putted on slower grass that wasn't "rough"

There was some character in the layout. But it was hard to appreciate when you putt on stuff like that.

Shtty course or not, you still won the day. It's better than hanging out with the wife at her event.

Stone is rough....I live in RC and spend all my time at Buffalo in Rockwall.

I don't work for them, no sir, been out of the biz since 2020. Been in the home services industry last few years. Good friend of mine had a start up called Fixd and pulled in me to be the GM of Dallas, and then Phoenix, Atlanta and Vegas before it sold to another service company for a load of cash. Work for a pluming wholesale now in sales on the RNC side of things. Enjoying my time away from the biz, son is heavy into golf so i'm still around it in a more leisurely way....still have that keen eye though every time in on a property ha.

Been hearing some pretty rough things about Bridlewood lately. We will be there for another TJGT event beginning of June.
