This officially starts the clock. Will be interesting to see how they handle it.

If they make it easy, the floodgate to getting anyone else that matters over the next year opens and LIV basically dies. They should make it easy.

Rory turned down a couple hundred million just to let Brooks waltz back into the tour. Ha!

If he wasn't part of the initial lawsuit against the PGAT that will help his case. Guys were already hinting at his return in some interviews a week or so ago during TGL. Maybe have him pay a fine but let him play immediately. He's a future hall of famer.
🚨👀⛳️ #NEW — Former LIV golfer Pat Perez has updated his IG bio with news that he is ‘reinstated to PGA Tour.’ Reports had surfaced indicating Perez was subject to a 1-yr ban following his broadcast stint & it’s believed that he wants to compete on the Champions Tour this year. pic.twitter.com/pxHh7EwG3a

The pga tour has liv on the ropes here. If they play their cards half correct it would push liv to further irrelevance.

I'm presuming that the Saudis' billions will be able to lure other guys over. But I agree that it's getting harder and harder for them to attract the top guys and will probably be relegated to signing 2nd and 3rd tier guys if they keep this going.

Recently signed Detry but whiffed on Bhatia. I think their play now is purely international. Which may work out fine for them but they swung and missed in the US. I think that was partly due to arrogance by their leadership. They never invested enough in drumming up local interest for the US tournaments, and the states is where their biggest backlash was always going to be.

Not sure what we've seen from the PGAT throughout this saga that would make any of us think that they will play their cards half right.

As I said right above you, I think the fact that the new Tour commissioner is not a long time Tour insider changes things. Coming with mostly NFL experience, he brings a different viewpoint to the sport/business of professional golf and I think he sees the big upside to bringing LIV players back into the PGA fold.

Yeah, because all of us would pass up life changing money to do the same job for a different employer.
Tour should make it easy for him and the others to come back. He helped make current Tour players more money. Tour players need to put on their big boy panties and realize they have a good chance to kill LIV if they do things right. I think the fact that the new commissioner is not a long time Tour insider makes it more likely this will happen than not.
