Vokey SM 9, 60 deg. M Grind.

More Callaway Chrome Tour, in White (cannot stand the other versions. in fact, my best putting after marking I place the ball down so no lines show). The Chrome Tour is just a great ball for me. Feels good andn does not roll too far with mid irons, and does not spin back too far with wedges. Durable, and stays a bright white throughout a couple of rounds.
"Green" is the new RED.

I lied.

I need a new Club Glove.

My 24 year old faithful CG needs to retire. Unbelievable product...Minimum 2 trips a year, and it's held up.

I read that and thought you said it was a 24 year golf glove in which case I was going to recommend you apply for a Guinness book of world records for longest used glove.

Holy smokes dude...

This thing is light years better than skytrak. I loved my skytrak, but the club data, overall quality, and user experience with this thing is nuts. I feel like I need to move my simulator indoors to get this thing out of my garage haha.

They back ordered 6 weeks after black friday because the deal was so good. I just got it, and am obsessed.

Have had it for a month now and still love it. And crazy enough it's even improved my putting and chipping. It's that good at what it does.

I always knew the upper end of skytrak swing speed was bad, but it was quite funny when my best swings on skytrak were 101 swing speed. I immediately hit that with warm up swings on a bad shoulder just testing it out

A lot of those monitors will catch the toe of the driver as it's closing at impact and it will read a higher swing speed with some drivers over others... both are slightly inflated numbers

I think what helps the Uneekor over others is that club data requires a silver dot sticker placed closer to the center of the face to avoid the problem you describe.

Yeah, my numbers were crazy deflated compared to trackman. During my recent 3 wood fitting I was getting ~106 club head speed, and on skytrak I never saw higher than 96. I just stopped trusting any clubhead speed reading, which made it harder to improve without an accurate smash factor.

Yeah there is a bit of an art to it

Looking at swing speed, smash factor, and launch angle should give u a good idea

106 with 3 wood is cookin

yeah, with skytrak I was basically mental mathing it on every wood shot. It was still workable, but the new machine seems very accurate since it measures both ball and club using a sticker.

And thanks haha, I worked on club head speed a ton this year after playing in a skins match with a handful of guys who hit 180+ ball speed with driver. I couldn't compete when they were hitting irons and wedges even into some par 5s, and I was hitting 3woods and driving iron.

The longest guy is a +4.4, and if he could putt worth a damn, he'd be great. There's a line on one hole that's ~295 carry from the back tees, and he's made it every time I played in his group. It's a par 5 that he launches over the entire dogleg and ends up with a wedge in his hand. 180 ball speed is absolutely playing a different game. The other big hitters generally always make it over on 18 which is a 285 carry from the back tees.

It's such a huge advantage at our course, and especially in the skins game. I have made it over on 18 (downwind), but I'd never take the 295 line no matter the wind. I'm comfortable carrying the few obstacles that need ~250 on the fly, and that has really helped this year. There are a lot of bunkers/hazards/corners at the 250 range on our course. Next year I'm chasing 265 carry to take on a few more of the dangerous ones.

106 with 3 wood should give u plenty of speed with driver to carry 265

What is your attack angle with driver?

yeah, the top speed vs swing I actually take to the course is a lot slower.

I swing up around 4 degrees on driver. I have hit balls that carry 265 off the tee, but I wouldn't say it's a reliable shot. The 250 carry, I feel like I see on the scope, and just grab the club.
