I jumped on that black friday Eye Mini Light for $1,700. I went from an OG Skytrak and it's world's better. Like game changing better.

The only thing I could really use is more yellow Prov1's. I'm pretty set otherwise.

I told my wife before we married to never buy me any golf equipment/gear unless I told her specifically what I wanted. Except for shorts/shirts, she's been good about it.

You got it already? I am REALLY considering it for the club data

1. No missed reads. I mean like zero. None. At all. On my skytrak I'd routinely get a few, especially high launch or short chips. Sometimes just regular shots because it just didn't read them. The EML reads everything. I mean everything. Low skulled drive, reads it. High lob with a 58, reads it. A 9' chip off the edge of the green, reads it. Hell my kid accidentally tapped a put and it read the 6" movement. I could honestly stop here and it would be enough.

2. There's no delay. My skytrak would wait several seconds before I'd see the shot on GSPro. Maybe a second faster on the Skytrak software. On the EML it's instant. Like hit it and then it's there on the screen. Just feels smoother.

3. The replayable video camera view of the club face hitting the ball is great. I can see where it hit, fat or thin, everything. This is especially helpful with my kids who insist they don't hate a bad shot when I can show them where and why the ball did what it did off the club face. Has been a very good teaching tool for them. And for me too.

4. Seamless integration with GSPro. You start the Uneekor app and select 3rd party software and that's it. GSPro sees it, and it's done. Even shows the club face camera on a separate monitor while playing GSPro. Pretty nice to have.

5. Putting works well. On my Skytrak putting was always hit or miss. Many times it would shank to the right or have some weird read on the speed. EML has really been great. Very accurate on speed and pretty decent on HLA on long puts. With GSPro's algorithm on straighter putting inside 20' it's pretty damn good.

6. The built in alignment tool is world's better. You can see multiple live cameras and overlays to get it exactly aligned in seconds.

7. The build is better. You need a case for a skytrak. The EML is metal, and the cameras are designed in a way that prevents a ball from striking them.

8. All in all it feels like an expensive piece of technology. Like something I'd find in a professional fitter facility. The Skytrak always felt like a toy to me. And often behaved like one.

9. The hitting area is much much larger. And it let's you know with sound and visial cue when it's good to go.

Yes, got it friday and played the hell out of it all weekend.

I came to post something similar. I used to play probably twice a month in fall and spring and four times a week in the summer. After have kids who are now getting older involved in sports and other activities I'm lucky to play fifteen rounds a year….. I love my kids, but damn I miss golf. Luckily my seven year old is growing to love the game so hopefully as times goes on I can play more often.

More time to play. The house is finally empty, but we don't live on a course anymore now. It's back to playing almost exclusively on weekends. And we're traveling most weekends now anyway. Frustrating.

I just don't get wanting to putt through a sim.

I've watched videos and reviews on it for multiple platforms and nothing I've seen has convinced me it will somehow be game beneficial. If anything, it seems to have a lot of potential to hurt real putting.

For game improvement it's worthless. For pure sim use it's way more fun IF it's consistent and somewhat close to accurate.

I guess I could buy that. I'm sure there's plenty of people that just use their for fun like an interactive video game instead of game improvement.

Just seems to defeat the purpose of what we're hoping to do with ours. I guess it's more a to each their own feature.

It's for my birthday not Christmas but found out my buddy is getting me some hickorys.

All I do is fly fish and play golf. My wish list is geared towards fly fishing gear. I'm retired, but on staff at a golf shop. Golf balls, shoes, and gloves are part of my "deal" so not much needed for awhile.
