Slowing down from the work side of things here next year. Wanting to learn to play the game (correctly). Where would you start? Lessons at club, something like PGA Store instruction, etc.?

If I had to learn golf from the beginning, I would start with putting. Really learn the proper stroke and how to read greens early on. Then, I would learn how to chip and pitch. Next, bunker shots. Then short irons, mid irons, long irons, and the last thing would be the driver.

Lessons for sure. And highly recommend a place where you can watch your swing on video - this assumes you are a visual learner.

Reverse psychology maybe? That way when you get to GI irons you gain some confidence?AggieDruggist89 said:What?????Teslag said:
