Hey congrats, Hanrahan! I feel like I'm getting close. My par 3 game has improved this summer. Just hit one up to a blind landing area and find the ball mark 6 feet short of the pin....ball at rest 2 feet past, right in line. I'd like to believe it touched the hole on the way past.

About 120 yards after a rain. I hit it right on line and when it hit the green it made a huge splash. The cup was tucked behind a sand trap and I couldn't see the hole - so initially, I didn't realize what I done. But I was pleasantly surprised to find my ball in the cup when I walked up to the green.

Not my furthest, but I did hole out last weekend at the club championship from 98 yards to a tucked pin behind a mound 3-5 paces on. Didn't see it go in, but 2 playing partners said, "That mighta went in" When we got up there and saw only one other ball on the green (which we could see the whole time) was pretty pumped to walk up to the whole knowing that it was for sure in.

Lasted a whole 2-3 minutes until I put my tee shot on the par 3 afterwards into the water. lol

So you had a post birdie/eagle F up as we call it at my club usually shortened to PBFU.

It's pretty much how most of the field played on both days.

Played the next day, they hadn't moved the tees or cup.
Same ball hit the same shot, hit the bottom of the stick and ricocheted off the green.

After that put the ball away, still has the mud on it to this day.

Thought about this thread yesterday. Played out of my mind for 9 holes. Lost daylight after 11. Holed out the longest putt I've ever hit, probably close to 20 feet away and on the fringe. Also came the closest I've ever been to a hole in one. Par 3 from about 154 yards off the tee. Came less than one foot from the hole. Lost it in the sun so didn't realize how close it was until I got up there. Was a great feeling but now all I can think about is getting my first.

You hit a hole in one and then continued using the ball in that round.. and used the SAME ball for your round the next day???

Probably about 90 yards.

I holed out on Friday from about 65 yards at Memorial Park on #4. So that was kinda cool.

365 yd par 4 @ the Blue Monster Course @ Doral in Miami. -5 under thru 8 and ended up +1 after 18.

Not a hole out but was playing the TAMU campus at least two decades ago if not more and was about 165 out when my golf teacher for beginning golf at TAMU pulled up in a golf cart and said hello

I said let me hit the shot and we can talk...ball landed 1.5 inches from cup

He goes must have been the coaching... I laughed and said in spite of the coaching. Then we talked vb until i made it to the green (he played professionally for a while, US Olympic alternate team member during year we boycotted)
