Watching Olympic highlights I saw Nelly Korda holed out from the rough about 90 yards out.

Got me thinking about how rarely I hole out. I can stick it close a few times a round, but making it has only happened a handful of times. Furthest out is probably about 65 yards.

What about y'all? How often do you hole out and what's your career long?

225 with a 3i at Lakeside CC in Houston. My only double eagle.

HGA junior tournament… started the 18th at +3, shot 72. Crazy.

I liked to say it was "to win"… but I won by 7. Better story the other way.

179 for an ace, 84 feet on a putt.

The putt was hilarious as it was a match in which my buddy stuck it to 4 feet, and I barely hit the farthest side of a large green. Then, I just smacked it over and huge up and down ridge, to watch it drop. He then missed the putt.

don't know exact yardage but around 140 on a par 4 for eagle. never had an ace..... been very close a number of times but the SOB just never wants to go in.

140 for eagle on par 4 for myself.

My stepdad hit one from similar distance. Elevated green so we couldn't see. He was going through chemo at the time and had little energy. He stood on the green as I searched for the ball. When I couldn't find it I walked across green back to him and glanced in the cup to find it there.

125 yard hole in one back in November. Haven't been close since, but the right combo of beer and screw-it-all and teeing up with a 5 iron got me there. My fiends say no matter how bad you play from here on out you always have that one shot.

Two after terrible snap hook tee shots.

#10 at Berry Creek in Gtown. Snapper left off the tee, off wrought iron backyard fencing. 2 iron punch and run down the cart path, through the trees, kicked right just short of the green, over a couple of green side mounds, onto the green aaaaaand....eeet's in de hole !!!!!! Eagle from +/- 215 yds

#16 at Delaware Springs, par 3. 197 or so from the back tees. Snapper into the creek left of the green. Retee, 5 iron right at it. 2 hop par.

125 out on a 425 yard par 4. Had just scored a 10 on the previous hole (par 4). Bombed my drive with a super pissed off swing and holed the next shot. Only carded eagle

Didn't share my one and only ace. Maxwell AFB in Alabama. Age escapes me but 12 or so. Temporary green setup behind pond lined with rocks. Landed way short on the rocks. Bounced perfectly straight up and onto the green. Rolled in from a few feet.

Just more examples of how the game is so frustrating...I've got at least 3 hole-outs from yardages much longer than those, but no holes in one from a thousand par 3's played at similar yardages.
