Kinda surprised we don't already have a thread for this.

2018 Ryder Cup host site and French Open site for the DP World Tour.

Took 3 years of 400 trucks of dirt per day to turn a flat farside into the rolling hills almost links style course.

Men August 1-4
Women August 7-10

You never know in these kinds of events. The Euros tend to love this kind of competition.

Ludvig Aberg, Viktor Hovland, Jon Rahm, or Matt Fitzpatrick could surprise.

Matthieu Pavon and Victor Perez play for France on the home turf. Pavon was really hot the beginning of the season.

yeah but the euros wont be playing together like the ryder cup

Seems like they are missing an opportunity with just a standard, individual stroke play format.

Wish this was a team event. Maybe 2 man teams with Ryder cup style format? Would be much more interesting in terms of selecting teams and the play itself.

He hit it because the course let him hit it. Blame the setup, not the shot.

Xander cratering and currently out of the medals. As are all the Americans.

Clark after a disastrous day one shot 10 shots better in rounds 3 and 4 to sit top 12 and 5 shots better than Morikawa.

Rahm came out hot, but has fallen back to tied for first with Fleetwood with 4 holes left.
