Anyone else attempting to qualify this year? I am playing out at Eagle Pointe. For those in the surrounding area that haven't tried I highly recommend. Fun to get the competitive juices flowing. There are still some sites that have open spots.

Playing out at pine forest in August.
Finished one stroke back of qualifying last year at hearthstone with a bogey on 18 but got in as an alternate.

I qualified last year at +4. Wish I could of played that well in the actual tourney.

Yeah, if you shoot 63-64 you've got a pretty good chance of getting in.

But seriously, 77-78 gets you in most of the time. I got in as an alternate one time shooting 79 at Wildcat.

Yeah, I'm a member out there and played on Tuesday evening. First time in years where you couldn't find your ball in the rough unless right on top of it.

Same out at our place right now- Lake Windcrest. You can be standing in the rough, drop your ball straight down, and it will disappear.

Didn't lose a ball out there, but for sure when in the past I would get a flier I was catching things dead because of the amount of grass.

Qualified by one stroke at +6 yesterday. Course played tough. Rough was really deep. Had an eagle and eight bogeys. Some of those eight were good bogeys, some bad. Happy I didn't have any doubles.
