I think the media saying Bryson has changed is crazy. He's the same bro dork he's always been. The crowd finally got behind him when he started playing well and the media had no choice but to get behind him as well.

He practices at my range and films a lot of stuff there. He's always been incredibly nice, if a little full of himself. That being said, if you can back it up then more power to you. He'll always talk golf though. He absolutely loves the game and everything about it.

I honestly don't know if he is or isn't.

I remember back in his SMU days he wasn't afraid to be himself with his Ben Hogan style and single length irons (before Cobra - the Edel days).

He's a highly technical and cerebral player which is the opposite of how I view the game. He'll experiment with any and every aspect of golf looking for an edge or ways to make it repeatable.

There are times when his personality seems quirky and contrived, but it may be similar to social awkwardness that a lot of great golfers in the past have had (Tiger, Hogan, etc.).

Bryson being fake seems just completely off. Hate him for many different reasons but fake? He's probably been the most real and honest pro the last decade, often to his detriment when he says things at times when he should just keep quiet.

He's not my favorite by any means but I respect the hell out of him and he's a great character for golf, which golf needs more of.

I don't think he's awkward nor produced. To me he's a great golfer with intense knack for minute details to his game and equipment. Pretty normal to me. Not sure of peoples comment of him being on a spectrum? Central Valley CA kid living his dream life Can't be happier he won.
