We are scheduled to play the Wednesday before US Open.

How does it compare to other courses there.

Going to try and get down there this winter or so to get on. I'm assuming its in the group of 2/4/8 where you need to be staying on property or with a member to play?

We are not staying on property for 10 but just because its US Open week. Since we are a "sponsor" we have the option to play for like $300 on Wednesday.

Hmm I'll be curious to see when it's regular time. Friend of ours dad is a member so probably will drive down and play it and 4 at some point soon.

Did 2 and 8 last time down.

We stayed on-site about a year ago and played 2, 4 and 8. We were going to try and play Tabasco Road but called our contract just to see if anything was open during the open and lucked out.

Going to play 2, 4 and 10 first week of October.

Talked to my friend this weekend whose father is a member. He said at this point 10 isn't available to members … only resort guests. I'm sure that'll change or they created a new tier of membership that also includes 10 and he hasn't switched.

Playing #10 late June, along with #2, #4, southern pines, forest creek, Tobacco Road, and the Cradle.

Sorry for the long turnaround but following the open I went directly on family vacation to 30A

First off 10 seemed rushed to open prior to the US Open. Not the course per se but amenities
The clubhouse is currently in a temporary trailer, merch was very limited and half way house was almost completed but not serving food. The only food available was from a food truck which arrived around noon.

That said the course was a mix of #2 (fairly open fairways with sand areas catching strays) with more elevation changes but less drastic greens. We had to walk and carry as caddies were not available due to how late we booked. They were not allowing carts but not sure if that will change in the future. Some very long par 3s and we played 1 up.
I love the sand cart logo.

I'd love to play it again when totally completed.

Do you get a 10 coin at #10 like you do at #2 for getting a 2 on a hole? If so, I might be able to get a few coins on #10

Only 2 birdies I made were on Par 5's. Not sure if they have coins yet
