Looks like he likes it again.RustyBV said:
Scotty didn't seem like to like the course during his round, he's not normally that angry but wasn't pleased with the inconsistent firmness of the greens.

Why are they doing threesomes from split tees tomorrow? I assume weather but it doesn't look like the forecast is bad.

If you have espn+, I'm rewatching the coverage of the 15th hole. It's pretty amazing. 120 yd par 3 with only 3 birdies the entire day. As someone who plays it a lot, it's fun to see them look like "us".

Any suggestions for going tomorrow? The garage/shuttle parking is sold out and the Alto rideshare option listed on the website does not come out to our area (Cypress).
Have somebody drop us off nearby and walk? There is a Chevron station basically on the intersection of I-10 and Washington, that would be an easy walk, Is that accessible tomorrow morning?

City of Houston can still lick my ass for trying to charge me $140 to play it when I live 25 miles away

-Stephan Jaeger was bound to win sooner or later. I played with him at Cognizant and was really impressed with his game, especially his driving. Not afraid to hit it hard and really straight.
-It was def weird seeing the overseed instead of the Bermuda.…

Interesting take on Memorial from Michael Kim.
He thinks it's tough enough of a track to host a US Open.Thoughts from Houston:

I'm just glad it's playing tough and looking like it belongs on the PGA Tour. I loved Redstone, but the pros just destroyed it. Which isn't surprising considering the member course was the more difficult / nicer course 10 months out of the year.Ag_07 said:

Being out there in the days leading up to the Open I thought this as well. It was crazy how short the rough was.Quote:
I thought the overseed would make things to easy because the rough was non existent and the chipping especially would be too easy
I mean it played pretty tough all things considered. 12 under winning without rough and with it being pretty soft is a testament to the redesign.Ag_07 said:
