Trying to convince the bachelor to go out Friday morning for a round at a championship course. The big names are pretty booked up. What are some of the next tier type courses that may still have a 9-10am tee time open? I see Sun Ridge Canyon mentioned. Any others? We won't have a car so don't want to be too far out of town.

With the weather turning nice next weekend book something pretty quick.
Sun Ridge is a straight shot out Shea. Wildfire has 2 courses at the JW. Straight up 56th street. Kierland is the closest to you. Never played it though.

You're welcome.

Sun Ridge and the brat at 10 are always the right answer.

The dude that runs the halfway house is a legend. And he twist your arm into getting fireball shots too, so just be prepared

Here's the view from the tee box of the par 3 Joey is talking about. From back in September. The photo doesn't really do justice to how much of a drop it is down to that green. This is from the 1-up tees. The tips are another ~20ft up.
The course was really cool, and there were some awesome houses on it. But the course conditions were just not quite up to the same level as the other courses we played.
Yup, make the drive and play it. Better than all the othersScarmardoAg19 said:
Quintero is the best course in AZ hands down.
Nice. I haven't seen this video, it's from before i really started watching the channel. Seeing them huffing and puffing trying to maneuver the slopes and inclines on those first 4 holes is giving me flashbacks.Mr.Bond said:
Their 2v1 on the front 9
I'm not even saying that the conditions were bad. It was still very good. The only thing i had to compare it to were Greyhawk, TPC, and Troon, which we played each of the 3 days prior, so it's probably not a fair comparison. Troon was unbelievable.jja79 said:
To the point about course condition in September. Last year was my first living here. We had 133 days over 100 with 54 over 110 and it rained 4" all year. The vast majority of the courses in the valley were scorched, dead, brown, gone by September with the exception of the tourist courses that can afford water because they're $225/round and up.

Quintero + WeKoPa (either one)
That's the way to go. Pull 36 at WeKoPa if you can
