Someone should build another one now that muni is gone. Briarcrest is always fully booked. Takes forever to play a round at a&m when you can get a tee time especially with them partnering people together.
If Pecan Lakes would get their chit together this would be an ideal option. But that course has gone down hill for many years now and getting to the point that they just don't care. Miss the days of Bluebonnet in its prime.VStarr2024 said:
Seems like south CS would be prime for one out towards the river/creek bottoms, but land prices are too expensive. 3 private country clubs, 2 public courses, one city that keeps prioritizing baseball and soccer fields and already has the highest park budget per capita in the country, and another that tore down the other muni tells all you need to know of the story of golf in these 2 towns. Heard people say that BCS is a dearth of competitive golf, and no one is helping it.
