Golfer and golfing are not synonymous. Golfer is fine, golfing is not.

F/E I know all of the guys railing against "golfing" in this thread have played a lot of golf.

I say golfing all the time and I've been golfing for over 42 years. There's no shortage of golfers I go golfing with..and I'm certainly not a hack. But if some uppity ******* doesn't want to go golfing with me because of grammar, **** off.

200 is extreme. I think I played 150 in covid year. It's a lot of golfing.

I play a lot. And have for 30 years. I have never heard anyone mention this pet peeve before at my club.

I don't walk in others line but I don't care if someone walks In mine

Some people worry about the small stuff way to much.

I may live on the 3rd hole of my club, and walk out every night to play 9 after I put my kids to bed in the summer

Obviously I don't know your experience at the course. She is actually new to the bev cart and probably not as efficient as she could be. Pretty typical at a lot of courses. Played greyhawk two weeks ago and only saw the cart once on hole 2. I typically load up at the clubhouse as well. But they are around like I said.

What he said is not laughable. It is spot on.

Now, if the guy who asked "Do you want to golf at Augusta National" then I'm all in. Even if he has a 30+ handicap index.

Otherwise, I'm out.

I never could get my son interested in golf growing up. But when he got into the business world I had this exact conversation with him so he would not sound ignorant on the golf course.
And now he kicks himself for not starting the game as a kid.

I sent out a survey to 3 of my text groups, over 30 golfers. There was one opposing response to the use of "golfing." hes a little ******. We will beat his ass next time we see him.

Lol it's only gotten worse. All my indoor soccer leagues shuttered during covid, so now I'm down to just this and Aggie football. Football isn't exactly enthralling at the moment either.

Son just played tourney there today. Pleasantly surprised how it was after this brutal summer. I expected goat track status. Instead tee boxes were decent....fairways were great. Greens were really good too but could tell they were dressed recently with lots of sand. Just had to land in front of the greejn and roll up. Greens were FAST but rolled true.
All in all I'd f rate it 8 out of 10

Yes, they small tine punched the greens sometime in the past 5-7 days. So, they're a bit sandy and softer than normal currently. That'll be grown in within the week and they should firm up. And they are running quick.
